Starlink has teamed up with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio to bring Starlink’s satellite internet services in India.
These agreements are subject to government’s regulatory approval.

Competition or Complementary?
Sale of Starlink’s equipment through Airtel & Jio’s retail networks.
Starlink’s primary focus is connecting rural and hard-to-reach areas, where laying fibre-optic cables is difficult / expensive, using satellite technology.
Jio will also provide customer service, installation, and activation support.
Cost: Satellite internet is much more expensive than traditional broadband.
Monthly Plans
Starlink: $10–500 + one-time hardware $250–380
Airtel / Jio: $5–47
The partnership won’t compete with Jio and Airtel, and rather complement their business by expanding reach.
